For those who wish to push beyond the traditional recreational diving limits, Dive Friends Bonaire believes there should be a safe way of doing so. Our technical diving instructor is dedicated to providing you a safe environment in which to learn many facets of technical diving.

Maybe you want to learn to dive on a Rebreather so you can get close to the underwater marine life for incredible photos or video. Or maybe you just want to stay longer. Possibly you want to do deeper dives on Nitrox or even Trimix to explore our deep wrecks and reefs. Rec Tek Scuba can give you the training or support to do so and return safely. We are here for you--the next generation of underwater explorers and adventurers.

We offer a full range of TDI/SDI courses including Solo Diving, Rebreathers, Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Trimix and many others. Instructor level training is also available. We also offer experience programs for those who want to try something different or aren't sure if they want to do a full course. These are generally a one-dive introduction to one of the above courses with minimal classroom time. Get out there and try a rebreather, or dive an expedition diving rig.

We can offer a wide variety of technical diving equipment--Drager Dolphin Rebreathers, high performance regulators, O2 clean regulators, back plates, harnesses, wings, doubles, stage bottles and other Tek diving accessories. If you own a Rebreather but don't want to travel with the tanks we have feed bottles, bail out bottles, and Scrubber material available.

For the more experienced divers Dive Friends Bonaire offers the possibility to join one of our tech-dive instructors to discover the Windjammer wreck. The Windjammer sank in 1912 and rests at a depth of 160 feet. The crow’s nest and the main mast lie at a depth of 200 feet. This spectacular dive takes you back into the past.
